Ella Yelich-O'Connor (born 7 November 1996), better known by her stage name Lorde (/ˈlɔrd/), is a singer-songwriter from New Zealand. She released her first EP The Love Club in March 2013 and her second EP Tennis Court in June 2013. Early life Lorde was born in Auckland, New Zealand.
